Duties: responsible for planning, managing, organizing and directing the activities of the Medical Records, Patient Care Component (PCC) Data entry and patient registration offices of the Coordinated Care Branch; supervises employees in these offices to ensure the efficient operation of the total medical records system; and develops, implements and interprets policies and procedures to process medical-legal documents, insurance and other related documents. REQUIRES: one year of specialized experience; successful completion of the requirements of a bachelor's degree (in any field); and one year in a medical records administration educational program accredited by American Health Information Management Association (AHMA) and Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA).
